I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. Members present: Anthony Varda, Leroy Baker, Joe Kruchten, Bob Agee and Mike Theis
II. APPROVE MINUTES OF JUNE 6, 2016
Motion Kruchten/Varda to approve the June 6, 2016 minutes. Motion carried. Vote 5-0

Motion Baker/Kruchten to recommend approval of Gary & Jean Nelson’s driveway permit application. Motion carried. Vote 5-0
B. (2014-9) Matthew & Janel Christianson, 5603 Whippoorwill Road, final driveway approval
Motion Varda/Agee to recommend approval of Matthew & Janel Christianson’s final driveway. Motion carried. Vote 5-0
C. (2015-9) Sharon Bessa, 5632 Schuman Road, final driveway approval
Motion Agee/Baker to recommend approval of Sharon Bessa’s final driveway. Motion carried. Vote 5-0
V. DISCUSSION RE: JOHN & ROBIN WILLE, 8995 SPRING VALLEY ROAD, RENT BUILDINGS FOR WEDDINGS/EVENTS
Plan Commission has no immediate objections. Questioned how liquor would be handled.
VI. DISCUSSION/ACTION RE: AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
Motion Varda/Baker to recommend further amendment to Ordinance 500.5, Transfer of Development Rights (TDR) Program, by removing “and Dane County’s” in Section VIII (C). Motion carried. Vote 5-0
Motion Varda/Kruchten to recommend adoption of Policy b number 5 on page 56 of the comprehensive plan as amended;
5. Development Rights: Development rights may be transferred between parcels according to the Town ordinance “500.5 “Transfer of Development Rights (TDR) Program Ordinance”, which is appended to this plan as attachment E. Density units or development rights attended to property which have been permanently restricted against further development by contract, deed restriction or other non-revocable action by the owner of that property, rendering the density unit or development rights unusable at that property, shall be considered extinguished and an equal number of density units or development rights shall be made available by the Town of Berry for transfer from the Town of Berry in accordance with Town Ordinance 500.5. In no event shall new or additional density units or development rights be created beyond the total number available in the Town of Berry based on the “one residential dwelling unit per 35 acres” policy calculated and interpreted as of April 13, 1981. Motion carried. Vote 5-0
